State Bank of India has announced to recruit around 18,000 new employees in the upcoming year 2025-26.

Of these, 13,500 to 14,000 posts will be for clerks and about 3,000 posts will be for officer level.
• Probationary Officer and Local Bank Officer Post: 3,000
• Clerk: 13,500-14,000
• System Officer: 1,600
Bank Chairman C.S. Shetty gave this information to the media while presenting the results of the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25 on Saturday.
About 1,600 posts will be for system officers in the recruitment. This is going to be the biggest recruitment by State Bank in the last decade. Shetty said, ‘We are going to take our technical capabilities to a new level and therefore this time the recruitment will be about 1,600 posts for system officers.’ The recruitment of system officers is also the biggest in this decade.
