Punjab Transport Department Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Sr. No.	Post Name	Qualification
01	Joint Director (Engineering)	Retired Executive Engineer or above having B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years’ experience in Road Design, Road Construction and Road Safety. Preference will be given to the Engineers having a Masters in Road Safety or Road Transportation.
02	Joint Director (Traffic)	Retired Superintendent of Police or above with at least 3 years’ experience in Traffic Enforcement or retired Secretary, RTA/RTO in Transport Department having experience as such in Traffic Enforcement of at least three years
03	Joint Director (Medical & Emergency Care)	Retired Senior Medical Officers or above having & at least three years’ experience in Emergency and Trauma Care.
04	Joint Director (Administration)	Retired PCS (EB) officers of Government of Punjab having worked as such in Transport Department for at least one year.
05	Road Safety Expert	BE/B.Tech degree with Post-graduation in Road Transportation/Road Safety/Highway Engineering and Transport Planning At least two years’ experience of assignments related to Road Safety/Road Safety Audit or Traffic/Transport planning. Preference will be given to candidates passed out from IITs or NITs or equivalent institutions.
