Punjab Police Recruitment 2024 The Punjab Government led by CM Sh Bhagwant Mann has announced the 10,000 Vacancies of Sub Inspector & Constables for which many candidates were preparing. It is to inform you all that Eligible candidates must apply online

 

Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria:

01. Sub Inspector

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Commerce, or Arts stream from a recognized institution.

02. Constable

Educational Qualification

Intermediate (Class 12) with Science, Commerce, or Arts from a recognized State or Central board.

Age Limit

One’s age must not be below 18 and above 28 years Note: There will be upper age relaxation for reserved candidates as per government rules.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The selection process for the post of Sub Inspector and Constable in the Punjab Police Department consists of three stages, which are a Computer Based Test and a Physical Test. Get the details about each from the below.

Written Exam:

Paper 1:

Mode: Online

Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)

Total Questions: 100

Maximum Marks: 100

Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer

Negative Marking: No negative marking

Quantitative Aptitude and Numerical Skills: 20 questions (20 marks)

Mental Ability & Logical Reasoning: 20 questions (20 marks)

English Language Skills: 10 questions (10 marks)

Punjabi Language Skills: 10 questions (10 marks)

General Awareness: 35 questions (35 marks)

Digital Literacy & Awareness: 5 questions (5 marks)

Paper 2:

Mode: Online

Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)

Total Questions: 50

Maximum Marks: 50

PMT for Height:

Males: 5′ 4″ (162.56 cm)

Females: 5′ (152.4 cm)

Race: 1600 meters in 6 min 30 seconds (1 Chance)

Long Jump: 3.80 meters (3 Chances)

High Jump: 1.10 meters (3 Chances)

Walk and Run: 1400 meters in 12 minutes (1 Chance)

Full Squats: 10 full squats within 3 minutes (1 Chance)

Long Jump: 3 meters (3 Chances)

High Jump: 0.95 meters (3 Chances)
