PSPCL New Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Full Time Regular 3/4 years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an institute recognized by State/Central Govt. with minimum of 60% marks. OR AMIE in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least 50% marks from Institution of Engineers (India) Calcutta. Candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least Matriculation |

- The question paper will consist of 100 objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
- All the multiple-choice questions will carry one mark for each correct answer and there will be negative marking for a wrong answer @ 0.25 (1/4th) of the marks allotted for correct answer.
- The exam would be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration.
Minimum qualifying marks in the online test:
- General Category candidates: 45%
- Reserve Category candidates: 35%

Step 2: Fill the Application FormLog in using your new credentials. Personal Details: Fill in your father’s name, category (Gen/SC/BC), and permanent address. Educational Qualification: Enter your Diploma/Degree details in Electrical Engineering. Note: Ensure you meet the Punjabi language eligibility (Matric level). Step 3: Upload DocumentsPrepare digital copies of the following (usually in JPG/JPEG format): Photograph: Recent passport size with a light background. Signature: Clearly signed on white paper with black/blue ink. Certificates: Qualifying degree and Proof of Punjabi language (if required by the portal). Step 4: Payment of FeesProceed to the “Make Payment” gateway. Choose your method: Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI.
